Mark Watson named Head of Agency (Customer Engagement) of the Year by Campaign
We are thrilled to announce that Mark Watson, Managing Director of tms (formerly The Marketing Store) Europe has been recognized with the Head of Agency: Customer Engagement award at the Campaign Agency of the Year awards.
Mark is not only the leader of our London, Paris, Leeds and Duisburg offices, he also has a strong claim at being our longest standing employee, joining us in 1993 as a graduate and rising through the ranks to become Client Services Director then US Managing Director and finally European Managing Director of the global customer engagement agency we are today.
Under his leadership, tms (formerly The Marketing Store) Europe has seen constant growth—winning over 20 new clients—expanded it’s offering to include social, experiential and partnerships and been named as a Sunday Times Best Company to Work for and a Campaign Best Company to Work for 2 years running.
Unanimously regarded as a hands-on, empathetic and inclusive leader, Mark’s approachable nature and unwavering positivity have earned him the trust and respect of both junior staff and senior leaders alike.
He leads with values of humility, integrity, collaboration and accountability—always empowering others around him to fulfill their potential and always holding himself liable for the wellbeing and success of employees and clients alike.
Judges praised Mark for “visibly leading from the front in supporting his team through Covid” and said that his “vision and objectives are simple and motivating.”
