tms’ leadership summit awarded for internal communications excellence
We are proud to share that the strategy, planning, and execution of tms’ leadership summit, Connections, has been recognized with three global awards for the 2025 event.
The event earned two honors from the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards, winning Bronze in Best Internal Communications from the Professional Services Sector and Best Event – In Person. It was also recognized with an IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence in the Special and Experiential Events category.
Hosted in Chicago every two years, Connections brings together over 100 of tms’ senior leaders for three days of personal and professional development, designed to strengthen understanding of our company priorities, inspire new thinking, and build the relationships that help drive our culture and business forward.
Receiving these awards is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the power of purposeful internal communications. Every aspect of our Connections leadership event was intentionally designed to create meaningful moments of learning, connection, and alignment for our leaders. We’re especially proud that the event was recognized not only for its creativity and execution, but also for its strategic impact on our business. Thank you to everyone who contributed their talent and energy to making Connections such a memorable and award-winning experience. We’re also grateful to our Senior Leadership Team for their investment and belief in the power of this event and the importance of bringing our leaders together.
The judging panel for the Gold Quill Award praised both the experience itself and its strategic communications approach:

A contributing factor to the awards was the measurable impact of Connections, which earned a 97% satisfaction score from attendees.
