What type of work experiences did you have prior to joining tms?
My previous job was in an operations and supply-chain role for UK Nursery brand Mamas & Papas. I also had experience working in a global marketing company, helping clients increase business sales and build customer loyalty.
What’s in your headphones currently?
I’ve definitely been listening to “I Wont Give Up” from Jason Marz a lot recently, but my favourite song of his has to be “I’m Yours”. His songs motivate and inspire me after a busy work day or during a Sunday morning run. In this abnormal year, I am also missing the Dragon Dance music of Chinese New Year. This year is too quiet!
Describe tms in one word.
“Orchestra”
…Working at tms is just like performing in an orchestra! Everyone is focusing playing their own instrument, but collectively the outcome is a very impressive symphony.
During your time at tms, what piece of work are you most proud of?
I am most proud of working with the Hong Kong Supply Chain Operations team to deliver smiles and happiness to children all over the world.
What would the title of your autobiography be?
“Trust”
Trust yourself as well as trust your team.
Which person (dead or alive) would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with?
I would choose my Golden Retriever who died when I was 14. He was my childhood best friend and gave me so many happy memories. I wish I could hug him one more time and say “Thank you” for all the amazing moments spent with my family.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve been given?
The best career advice I have been given is to “keep moving forward “ — keep fighting until the obstacles—no matter how huge—are overcome. I am very grateful that I have supportive leadership at tms.
What’s your current side hustle?
Recently I have been reading many books about aromatherapy as I love fragrance and am keen to learn how to use different natural essential oils to improve people’s emotional and physical wellbeing.
