At tms, empowering women in tech means creating space for every voice to be heard and every leader to grow.

As featured in ‘Women in Tech: 6 Leaders Share Their Strategies for Success’, six accomplished women in technology reveal how they built their careers by embracing mentorship, emotional intelligence, and continuous learning. From navigating ambiguity to balancing ambition and empathy, their leadership journeys show that authentic connection and resilience drive success.

Carla Faustino, Senior Manager of Decision Science at tms, recently shared her experience with Built In, reflecting on her non-linear career path, the mentors who helped shape her leadership journey, and how she now works to empower others on her team to lead with confidence and empathy.

I focus less on titles and more on creating a culture where everyone feels empowered to lead in their own way — whether that’s managing a new workstream, mentoring others, or serving in an employee resource group. One principle I often share is, ‘if you’re in the room, you belong in the room.
