We are thrilled to announce Cboe has been awarded bronze at the 31st Annual Financial Communications Society (FCS) Portfolio Awards. On May 1, the FCS hosted a gala ceremony commemorating the standout marketing within the financial services industry in 2024.

As one of the world’s largest derivatives marketplaces, financial professionals regularly use Cboe’s host of products; however, many knew their offerings better than the Cboe name itself. The worldwide campaign, led by tms, transformed its product awareness into brand equity through strategic global placements.

It was an honor to be recognized at the FCS Awards among the best in the industry for our worldwide campaign with Cboe. This award is a testament to the power of connecting people with financial markets across the globe, and now we are even more inspired to keep raising the bar.

In New York City, digital billboards in Times Square highlighted Cboe’s role as creator of the VIX® Index, the leading volatility benchmark. Internationally, the campaign reinforced Cboe’s global accessibility – Sydney and Melbourne’s digital transit signage, Hong Kong’s fully wrapped double-decker trams, and additional placements in London, Tokyo, and Amsterdam all boldly communicated a unified message that traders could access global markets from anywhere.

By coordinating placement across financial capitals, the campaign leveraged the equity of individual products while building a unified global brand.

The strategic positioning emphasized both Cboe’s worldwide presence and its role as creator of essential trading tools like the VIX® Index, strengthening the institutional recognition of Cboe as a premier exchange operator.

We are proud to have partnered with Cboe on such standout creative work in 2024, and we extend our congratulations to all other 2025 FCS Portfolio Award winners – check out the full list of winners.
