The World Menu Heist has returned to McDonalds, this time with a Duolingo partnership to take MyMcDonalds Rewards (MMR) international. The new menu takes UK customers’ tastebuds on a journey with McDonald’s menu items from around the world. The campaign runs from September 22 – November 16.

tms and McDonald’s have worked together to align the MMR loyalty program to a new brand approach: Unashamedly McDonald’s. The strategy requires partnerships that elevate the campaign moment and give customers rewards that feel worth the hype. Partnering with Duolingo creates sustained engagement for World Menu Heist by launching mid-way through the campaign. The partnership elevates the campaign moment by getting customers to crack the code to earn 3-months of Super Duolingo.

From October 20, customers can crack the code by logging in to the McDonald’s app and redeeming the offer by spending 2,000 MMR points. The unique code gives them 3-months of Super Duolingo so customers can keep learning. It also unlocks special practice areas to help fix past learning errors. 300,000 codes are available throughout the promotion while stocks last.

tms wanted a rewards partner that elevated the heist and got fans feeling like they were cheating the system by travelling the world from their dining rooms. Duolingo was the perfect fit.

Menu items from the second World Menu Heist reveal will be available until November 16, including the Peach McFizz from Singapore, the Chicken McWings & Szechuan Sauce from China, the McExtreme from Spain, and the Twix McFlurry from Germany.
